Every time I think I like something and don’t say anything about it, whether it is an idea or a style or whatever, it seems to pass me by and suddenly I feel like everyone knows about it and no one cares. Why couldn’t I just have said it and never felt ashamed in the first places. So here we go. I like…
metallic emerald green, deep red, cobalt blue, pedal pusher type pants like the ones Mary Tyler Moore is always wearing on the Dick Van Dyke show, early 2000s, 90210/Buffy/ all those good teen drama tv shows, high fashion, dark but well shaped eyebrows, apple cider, knitting sweaters!, history of all kinds, movies from the 20s/30s/40s/50s/60s/70s/80s/90s/2000s/present, black and white photography, Oscar Wilde, midriffs, musicals, graphic-print flowers, ballet flats, Modcloth, all things vintage and all things that ever will be vintage, a red cardigan, nice socks, jeans, gap, magazines, mixing paint, baking interesting pies/cakes/cheesecake, tumblr, radio, holiday music, interesting choir music, men who know how to dress, hiking, being on a beach, thinking an entirely new thought, simple lines, simple colors, simple gifts, being lutheran, reading a good book that makes you ache inside, organization, giving people costumes, trying on clothes, etc etc etc etc etc.
I’m glad I got this out. Oh there’s more. Idk what this is. Its a post of randomness, but goodness. Here’s a picture because I know thats all people really care about:

I love these two dresses. I would highly suggesting checking out modcloth dresses today because they are currently veryyy amazing. I think I just “Loved” like 60. ANYway. These two were particular standouts to me.
The browny gray one stands out because I have been thinking about The Other Boleyn Girl lately, (one of my favorite books of all time by the way), and this immediately made me think of it. That could have something to do with the title: “Holding Court Dress”. Or maybe the fashion blogger who chose it just had the same inner feeling about it that I did. In any case, it is gorgeous (Aryn K by the way, one of my common favorites).
The second dress I love because recently I have been overcoming my opposition to sequins, and I love the color pale pink. This is a combination of the two! Its so fun and flirty without being TOO overpowering. If I was the clubbing type, it would be up there on my list. This one by the way is called “The Night is Young Dress”, in the rare case I have any ambitious followers who are interested in buying it themselves.

Wedding planner = One of my possible careers one day.
This picture is beautiful.
Let me start off by saying I love this dress.
I generally go through decades of fashion phases. I don’t know how to word that without making it sound confusing, so I will explain. See for a few weeks, months, years, I will like say the 50s and all of their corresponding fashion, and then after that it will be the 30s or the 20s and so on. One era that I have always liked but never truly gone through a phase with is the late 19th-early 20th century, possibly because there is no easy way to name it. Victorian! That’s it! Well not for long, I think that it is slowly creeping into my radar. (In a non creepy way, read The Countess Below Stairs for further explanation of a non-creepy creep. Great book.) This dress is currently sparking my interest. Please ModCloth! Give me more of these things to work with!
