It’s a new year. It doesn’t feel like it, at all. It is though. 2010 went amazingly fast. Lots of things happened, yadayadayada. I’d like to say that 2011 will be a lot different, but who knows anything about that? Certainly not me.
I’m hoping for more laughter, more decisions, more change, more whatever. I’m hoping for a good year. I don’t think it’s too much to ask. I’m leaving this year here, where it is.
I’m letting the old year die.
With my hopes as high as a kite :) (Thanks Irving. You always know what gets me)
But enough with all of the dreariness! IT’S A FRIGGIN NEW YEAR!
That means it’s a new way count how long I’ve gotten along being me. I can tell my children about this year. I can make references to it! I can count the time before it and after it. It can be used in history now, because it’s not gonna be the present any longer.
There’s something to be said for new beginnings, isn’t there?
